Quelques nouvelles de PHIDEAUX ! "While we have been putting the finishing touches on our new album, "Doomsday Afternoon", we found the time to work on a track for a compilation album about legendary pirates. That song ("Tempest Of Mutiny") is now posted on our MySpace page and we invite you to take a listen. "Tempest Of Mutiny" was recorded and produced by Rich Mouser (Spock's Beard, Transatlantic or Dream Theater). He's done a fantastic job in collaborating and pushing us to the extreme. This track will appear on the next Rock Comix from CypherArts.com who put out the double concept album "Colossus of Rhodes" in 2005 (with an incredible cover by Paul Whitehead). Meanwhile, the second part of our trilogy is almost here. "Doomsday Afternoon" is scheduled for release in May 2006. After the more concise songs on part one ("The Great Leap") we've taken the long form approach and have prepared an album with one long song (in a few separate movements). The cover is once again painted by Molly Ruttan."
