"Between 8th and 11th January 2008, Tim and Steven wrote and recorded further material in the second set of sessions for No-Manâs sixth official studio release (which will be the band's first album of new music for five years).
These sessions built on the earlier No-Man recording sessions in August and September 2007 and on Timâs subsequent sessions at Stephen Bennettâs studios in Sweden in November 2007.
The band is in the process of recording overdubs and choosing the final running order of songs. The album will also feature contributions from a number of guest collaborators (names to be confirmed), as well as full string arrangements for several tracks.
The album is tentatively titled Schoolyard Ghosts, and is due to be released on the K-Scope label in May 2008. Songs confirmed for the track-listing include All Sweet Things, Mixtaped, and the 14-minute Truenorth.
No-Man are planning a European mini-tour - their first since 1993 - to support the release of the new album. Dates and venues for the tour will be announced closer to the time, as will the line-up of the touring band."
