This american progressive trio –from Pacific Northwest- existed during the seventies, and tried to create an original instrumental music, suggestive and melodious, mixing power and refinement. Like Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Triumvirat, with also something that recalls Greenslade, maybe their keyboards/bass and Fender Rhodes piano/drums formula, GLASS offers a sophisticated fusion of classical music, jazz and rock. Their virtuosity and creativity is really astounding. Although they went to England to obtain a deal with a label, they never got it, and their career stopped at the end of the seventies. These two CD offer the best of their music, with a studio record (engineered in the seventies and remastered), and a live one. They fell into oblivion, which was unfair considering their music’s high standard level. Here they are, and maybe you’ll hear about them one of these days with a new album. Enjoy!
